Don’t cross the line

On my way back from the Botanic Gardens I decided to visit the Lăng Chủ Tịch Hồ Chí Minh (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum), Quảng Trường Ba Đình, Quận Ba Đình, Thành Phố Hà Nội. Indeed, an interesting place.
The long, wide boulevard reminded me so much of those propaganda shots of the 1970s.
The boulevard seemed to go on and on.
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum was impressive. Although again, it felt like something from another era.
I managed to get shouted at while taking the shot below because as I was staring down the viewfinder, I managed to walk over a line that visitors were not allowed to cross. The moral of this story is — don’t stare down your viewfinder when moving around, as you never know where you will step!
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is undoubtedly an impressive place. But do watch where you step!
