In 2015, this was the new mall in town

KOMTAR Johor Bahru City Centre (JBCC) Mall was next door to the Johor Bahru City Square Mall (108 Jalan Wong Ah Fook, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia). And in 2015, it was the newest shopping mall in the centre of Johor Bahru. The mall seemed to be focused on high-end clothing.

The mall was very brand new and shiny in 2015.

Two things that I did find weird about the mall. First, it had an unconventional layout, and it wasn’t easy to get between floors. Second, there was a Marks and Spencer (a UK store) in the mall, and I found it odd seeing MnS products on sale in Johor Bahru.

The KOMTAR Johor Bahru City Centre (JBCC) was the big, new, shiny shopping Mall when I lived near Johor Bahru. It was an ‘up-market’ version of the Johor Bahru City Square next door.
