Breakfast At 7 is a great little restaurant on the outskirts of Johor Bahru, Malaysia, that serves a fantastic Indian breakfast.
When I lived near Johor Bahru, it was one of my favourite places for Sunday breakfast.
My personal favourite was the Masala Dosa (fermented crêpe made from rice batter and black lentils, filled with potato, methi (a member of the pea family that produces aromatic seeds that are used for flavouring), curry leaves and served with chutneys and dal (lentil, pea or various types of bean)), Chicken Kothu Paratha (parotta (layered flat bread), egg, chicken, and salna, (a spicy sauce)), coffee and fresh lime juice.
If I were with a big group of friends, we would go for the Breakfast Platter, as it would serve two to four people (although I have managed to eat one on my own!).
The café is well worth checking out. The weakest point of the breakfast is the coffee, but why would you go to an Indian Restaurant for the coffee?
