Australia — Bold Park Reserve, Perth, Australia

You don’t have to go far to see the Bush

August 2015

Well, this was a pleasant surprise — Bold Park Reserve, Perth.

Reabold Hill is the highest natural point on the Swan Coastal Plain and was named in 1917 after Francis Rea, a former Mayor of Perth, and William Bold, the longest serving Town Clerk for the city.

The Park gives great views out across Perth, and it is also worth a visit as you will see some wild Australian plants, birds, and wildlife on the walks around the reserve. No need to drive out into the Bush.

I saw as much wildlife in Bold Park Reserve, Perth, Australia, as I did on my drive up through the Bush to the Pinnacles.
